Gifts for Valentine’s Day!

18 January, 2011 – 9:40 am

Why not think outside the box this year and give your loved one something a little different. Chocolates, socks, smellies, even Teddy bears can get a bit boring! I offer unique gifts which you can have personalised by me!

At the moment, I am shaping pieces of stone ready to have the initials of your special someone carved into them.

I can carve and paint flowers into all types of stone-a gift that will last forever.

I have some beautiful carvings in my shop at the moment and I am happy to discuss any ideas that you may have for a commission.

For something completely different, you could book a stone carving class, £25 for a 1hr taster session, if they like it they can come back for more!!

Have a look at my Gallery for ideas and inspiration.

I look forward to hearing from you!

New gallery

15 January, 2011 – 4:10 pm

Please have a browse through my new look gallery, I have re-organised it so that it will be easier to find what you want.
I have added some new galleries including one showing images of previous stonemasonry projects that I have undertaken.
You will hopefully enjoy looking at my latest creations-my pendants which I make from all the small pieces of stone that are too good to through away, but too small to actually carve anything with.

I can send things through the post and can take payments over the phone using my credit card machine.

Please use my contact me page if you would like to get in touch to discuss any projects that you would like me to undertake.

Large wave carving

14 January, 2011 – 12:39 am

Well the seasonal craft fairs are over and I finally finished my carving, it is about 2 and a half ft cubed. Carved in Tetbury limestone. It has some beautiful fossils and calcite veins running through it.

Just so you don’t have to go back through the archive I will put the previous photos in this post. I like to see the progression from a rough block through to the finished sculpture.

I hope you like it. As with all my work this piece of sculpture is for sale and would look beautiful in your home or garden.

This has taken me 3mths to carve. I look forward to showing you my next carving.
