Slate carvings

Well here are the 1st three in the series of carvings in which I am exploring ripples. I have found it quite a challenge carving the slate and trying to create movement in such a solid material. I hope you like them. [nggallery id=65]

As well as myself there are other workshops, Paul Webb-woodturner. Sally Taylor-Printmaking using the etching process. Glos Geo conservation. Rob Wiltshire-stained glass maker and blacksmith Art shape will be moving on site in the next month or so. BTCV. Woven Textile maker. The Gallery and Tearoom are still unfinished, but hopefully these essential additions will be ready soon.
