Well here are the 1st three in the series of carvings in which I am exploring ripples.
I have found it quite a challenge carving the slate and trying to create movement in such a solid material.

I carried out a degree at Christ Church in Canterbury, Kent. I concentrated my studies on portaiture and figurative sculpture.
This is what I am developing in my stonecarvings and I am influenced by the Art Nouveau Period. This incorporates nature and the beauty of the female form.
