Well here are the photos of my latest carving.
I am using a beautiful piece of hard Tetbury limestone from Veizeys Quarry. It has some very interesting fossils running through it, I have found a piece of coral, some beautiful shells and loads of Gastropods!

Some of you may have seen this carving as a work in progress during last Summer, well here she is!
She is carved from Portland limestone and stands just over 2ft high by 7" square.

Here are the photos of the finished carving. Due to a fault in the stone, I removed about 6" off the bottom of the block.
It is sanded to a very fine finish. I hope you like it.
