I had a lovely few days with my Mum last week on the Kent coast.

We went for a walk on the beach at St Margaret’s at Cliffe and my ideas have once again been fuelled by the things I saw.

Here are the 1st 3 drawings for my new sculptures that I am really looking forward to carving.

It may have been a gloomy day but I had a wonderful time with my Mum, the sea feeds my soul, it nourishes and inspires me.

I look forward to getting on with my new carvings.
