What I’m up to in my workshop

7 June, 2016 – 7:08 am

Sorry that it’s been a while since I last wrote anything. I have had a busy few weeks.

My commission for Highgate Cemetery is just about finished.

I have a wide range of commissions that I have been working on including a business sign with anAlpaca carved in shallow relief, a 50th wedding anniversary present and a selection of house names and numbers.

I have also decided to design and sculpt a selection of inexpensive plaques and sculptures. They will be modelled in clay and cast in a variety of materials for both indoors and out. Obviously this will be carried out by me and will still be exclusive to me.

My next large commission is a 3ft high block of Tetbury limestone that I will be carving for a private garden.

I am also developing a new selection in my sterling silver and slate range of pendants and earrings. So watch this space for details.

Of the three slate clocks I have just carved only one remains so I will he carving some more, prices start at £45.

I will put plenty of photos in my next post.

Thank you for following me and my business.
