More lovely carvings

Hi peeps, I have been making the most of this latest lockdown to carve lots of lovely things for you to look at and maybe buy.

My Passion flower carving I started in 2015, I had a beautiful plant growing outside my shop, it’s in Kent now growing at my Mum and Dad’s house. I made some drawings and this is the result. It is finally finished and ready to display in my shop. I hand carved it in Portland limestone. I deliberately left the raw edge so that it looks like it has come out of an historic freeze.

The next two words that I have just carved and painted are again drawn out specific to the stone, I design them straight onto the stone so that they work with the shape. I have introduced a pop of red which I think works really well with the silver and gold. These would be fine outside.
